Mountain View Lodge

Mountain View Lodge has been our dream for a long time. Now we get to share our love for Noordhoek with you.

Set in a beautiful eco-estate, our natural fynbos garden and wilderness view reminds us of being in the African bush. With a panoramic mountain view, all day sun, and just minutes from the incredible Noordhoek Beach!

The rooms are light and bright, and the property is spacious, equipped for a perfect rejuvenating holiday in our home away from home.

The space
Our property is an open plan, spacious house, perfect for a relaxing & serene escape with home comforts while being surrounded nature. Enjoy all-day sun, social dining, outdoor seating areas and a braai (BBQ), allowing you to make the most of the majestic African sunsets. On winter days, snuggle up in front of the indoor fire to watch a movie in the cosy lounge.

The house is situated in Lake Michelle security estate: a peaceful and beautiful eco-estate which benefits from 24-hour security.

Leaving the eco-estate, you’ll find a long, white sand beach and amazing restaurants, artisanal shops and a local craft brewery in one direction, and large supermarkets, a petrol station and a mall in the other, all 5 minutes away.

For nature or exercise enthusiasts, enjoy a multitude of local activities: running or cycling up Chapmans Peak’s famous drive, hiking or trail running in Silvermine Nature Reserve, or swimming in Silvermine Dam. Or, directly from your front door, wonder through Lake Michelle’s own pathways and avenues around the lakes & wetlands, spotting birds, tortoises and maybe even an otter!

Guests have private use of the whole property. Enjoy the tranquility.

Other things to note
The property also has batteries & inverters (2 x 5K), so there is no need to worry about electricity coverage during load shedding.
